CooperVision's Biomedics XC contact lenses are specially designed to maintain the highest level of comfort for the entire day. These contacts utilize CooperVision's PC Technology that creates a material incorporating phosphorylcholine (PC), which is a substance occurring naturally in human cell membranes. This substance is amazing, because it is hydrophilic and strongly desires to be surrounded by water. This means that the lens encompasses ample amounts of water as this molecule attracts the water from the eye to the lens while also using the existing liquid on the lens to ensure the comfort of the lens is not diminished throughout the day. These contacts also are an aspheric design that allows more precise vision to be achieved. The Biomedics XC contacts are intended for two-week use and are intended to maintain the health of the eye. The boxes include 6 contact lenses for up to three months of usage. This is an excellent contact if a person has trouble with lens discomfort, because these lenses are designed to improve air exchange and cleanliness.
